Issyk Kul, surrounded by the mountains differs by extraordinary beauty. The first Russian traveler Semyonov – Tien-Shanskiy, in XVII century has visited the Issyk Kul lake, and has compared it with widely known lake of Genevan lake in the Alps and preferred Issyk Kul.

In spite of the fact that the lake is located at height of 1609 meters above sea level and from different directions is surrounded by mountain ridges, it does not freeze within all year. It explains basically by a greater stock of heat which concentrates in superficial layers of lake for a warm half of year.

In July and August the temperature of water on a surface of lake reaches 18-20 ^oC degrees, and on shallow waters and in gulfs water heats up sometimes up to 25-28 ^oC degrees. In the winter the temperature of water on a surface in the open part of lake does not fall below +4 degrees.
The abundance of greens, pure mountain-sea air, fine sandy beaches, therapeutic muds and mountains surrounding it - do attractive for various kinds of tourism: horse and the pedestrian, mountaineering, cognitive tourism.

Under thickness of water the ancient cities flooded at formation of a hollow Issyk Kul disappear.
Beaches of the Issyk Kul lake are attractive for having a rest. Every year more and more tourists visits area of Issyk Kyl for rest.
